Navigating The New Security Landscape: Asia Pacific Cybersecurity Study
A year on from the publication of our inaugural cybersecurity survey in 2023, it is remarkable to see how many of the same issues continue to impact the work of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOS) in the region.
In the 2024 edition of the Cloudflare study, we continued to build a better understanding of the threat landscape facing CISOS and their teams across Asia Pacific; with interviews we conducted among almost 4,000 cybersecurity professionals from 14 markets across the region.
Some highlights from the report include:
- Over 68% of the respondents experienced at least one cybersecurity incident in the past 12 months.
- 47% of respondents reported their organisation experienced more than 10 breaches in the past 12 months
- 51% of respondents report combined losses of more than USD 1 million due to breaches
We hope that the insights gleaned from this report help CISOS and their teams identify roadblocks in their paths to navigating the complexity in their cybersecurity stacks, make a more informed decision on how to tackle the emerging paradigm of Al-powered threats, in order to strategically recalibrate resources to overcome talent constraints and figure out a way to navigate the web of regulations.
